“Red Majeste” Mermaid Diamanté-embellished dress and Corseted Overskirt.
Rich Red/Black Brocade V-high neck fully lined mermaid dress with corseted overskirt lined in red taffeta. Diamanté embellishment frames the neckline.
DRESS:
The one piece mermaid dress has a head-turning triangular peephole in the back and is fitted from the bust through the cinched in waist, then skims over the hips to open out in a red-carpet style mermaid flare at the bottom. The dress is fully lined with invisible zipper in the back. Shoulders are padded.
DETACHABLE CORSET OVERSKIRT:
The pièce de resistance is the blooming overskirt that poufs out from the cinched in waist of the attached corset belt, complete with ties in the back for hourglass definition. The front closure is a 4-no hear busk.
For sweeping fullness, the overskirt positioned from side to side on the corset belt, has built in structure comprised of rows upon rows of firm wide horsehair braid in between the red taffeta lining and the brocade outer fabric, and becomes a mini train extending from the dress.
EMBELLISHMENT:
Twin rows of glass diamanté stylized trim is stitched onto the the dress to frame the high V-neckline from the nape to the front bust.
